The SHORT version...

One guy. One girl. One stripper. 23 beers. 37 cigarrettes. One big mistake, and one last chance to win her back. Sucks being Tyler today.

The LONG version...

NORTH BEACH is a frenetic romantic comedy for the co-dependent in all of us. It's TRAINSPOTTING meets DAZED AND CONFUSED as we experience a day in the smoke-filled beer-numbed life of TYLER MORGAN, an urban hipster who makes the Marlboro Man look like a health nut, as he desperately tries to pull his social nuts out of the fire.

You see, TYLER (Casey Peterson) just made a big boo-boo. He cheated on his girlfriend PAIGE (Jennifer Milmore) with a 19 year-old stripper and now he's got to cover his tracks. But that's easier said than done because this is NORTH BEACH, a community so tightly knit he can't swing a dead cat without clocking one of his chums. Sure enough, no sooner has he stumbled out of the youth hostel than everyone knows exactly what he was up to... including Paige. He desperately tries to do some damage control, but his gaggle of misfit friends keep sucking him into their airtight agenda of party crashing, coffee bingeing, and chain smoking. But when he learns from waifish waitress and local gossip fiend LU (Gabrielle Anwar) that Paige has taken off with "The Suit", a clean-cut go- getter who, Paige observes "...actually has a job," he's forced to quit slacking and start moving, going through hell and high water to foil her social plans and prove himself worthy of a second chance... And he's only got a day to do it.
